MY ROLE
As a Lead Product Designer, I’ve been responsible for a variety of company-wide projects - from building a unified UI Kit to supervising the outsourcing design & dev teams.
One of my most challenging projects in Kafene was unifying 3 different products under one cross-platform UI-Kit — Customer Dashboard (B2C), Merchant Portal (B2B), and Internal Backoffice. Another tricky task was to create a seamless experience across the digital and real-world because part of the interaction with Kafene was right in the store! Interestingly, the main audience was people 35-45 years old and above, so improving the usability and accessibility became a crucial part of the design process.
Fast payment feature
The problem: initially there was only 1 option to pay for a lease - through the Customer Dashboard on the Kafene website. Due to inconvenience, it led to an overdue, which was bad for us as a business and for users as it might affect their credit score.
The solution: To introduce the new payment options and use SMS and emails with deep links to communicate with users and let them pay seamlessly and securely right from their smartphones. I designed the flow which allows users to pay in just 2 clicks!
Result: The number of overdue payments has been decreased by 18%
